Moule & Co go one step further than the normal agri-environmental services. We have developed a comprehensive one stop shop for all your businesses environmental needs. Most importantly we are entirely independant, and you therefore receive advice focussed entirely on getting the best for you and your business. We can work with your agronomist or we can bring in qualified consultants we already work with where required.
Agri-environment schemes
We have expertise in completing and applying for Entry Level Stewardship applications (including organic) and Higher Level Stewardships including the Farm Environment Plans. We have two Natural England approved consultants who can advise on the process, liaise with Natural England advisers, work with you and other parties to ensure the best possible application is put together. It is particuarly important to work with tenants and graziers to ensure they can meet, and get the best out of the schemes. We can provide management plans (e.g. orchard planting, pond restoration) and ongoing scheme management if required.
HLS Scheme management for the landowner and smallholder
If you are not an active farmer, or run the farm as a part time enterprise, you may find it helpful that we can manage a Higher Level Scheme on your behalf. We can work with contractors and Natural England to ensure you meet the deadlines and management requirements of the scheme. We currently carry out the day to day management of three sizeable Higher Level Schemes, dealing with the contractors and tenants directly to ensure the requirements of the scheme are efficiently met and complied with.
Complete contractor services to undertake all your scheme requirements
Moule & Co work with Worcestershire based contractors JB Contractors who offer a range of contracting services to farmers and landowners, that may be part of their HLS scheme of capital and land management obligations. JB Contractors work with us and management plans / scheme prescriptions to carry out work such as pond restoration, orchard planting, livestock handling facilities, fencing etc. Please contact us or visit JB Contractors website for further information.
Environmental Regulation and Voluntary Initatives
We will help you get up to date on a range of regulatory and voluntary schemes and initiatives including catchment sensitive farming, crop protection management plans, water abstraction, water management framework, compliance with statutorily designated areas, contribute to the Campaign for the Farmed Environment, waste regulations, and more.
Soil testing and sampling
Although we largely expect this to be done through your agronomist, there may be occasions where you need soil testing to be carried out for certain applications, planning, stewardship applications, or perhaps you don't normally use an agronomist. We can help source these for you.
