  • Retained by existing clients to assist in management of farming and other rural businesses, reviewing and analysing business position often using SWOT, benchmarking business costs and making recommendations to clients if necessary instructing additional technical expertise E.g. nutritionists / vets to review business strategy and feed in cost implications. Working with other consultants to provide forecasting financial data, liaising with 3rd parties E.g. banks where necessary. Providing commentary to 3rd parties in relation to risk, markets, explaining budgets and ongoing management of actuals against budgets.
  • Particular skill in getting client to consider, discuss and plan their objectives in context of their personal, family, financial and business position.
  • Working on behalf of dairy and livestock farmers implementing their strategic plans in professional services such as grant applications, tenancy and farm agreements, diversification and planning.
