Are you a farmer who has been affected by recent flooding incidents?
DEFRA have extended the Farming Recovery Fund which offers support for farmers affected by recent flooding. For Worcestershire and Gloucestershire the fund opened for applications on 6th January and includes the heavy rainfall between the 13th and 15th November 2019 which led to the Avon being at exceptionally high levels.
The Farming Recovery Fund offers funding for uninsurable items and activities with a minimum grant of £500 and a maximum grant of £25,000 available. The fund is limited so if you think you may be eligible it is important to get the application in sooner rather than later. Applications to the extended fund must be submitted by 31st July 2020.
